Nicole Wetzel humored me with this 80s-Jane-Fonda-inspired-look. You gotta love it when a girl goes all-in for the photos. In return, I promised that we_d take some shots without the funky sweat bands. I showed Nicole a few images off the back of the camera and she said that her boyfriend was going to love them. Well, I don_t think he is alone on that one. Tomorrow, I will be attempting to run a 10K on five hours of sleep. Hope there_s a nap break at the halfway mark.

Reading some of your comments before I write my notes can be a good thing. Someone did nail it by identifying the Cherry Creek Mall in Denver. Although, I was confused by the rest of his comment. Snowy conditions were a nice change of pace for photographing the amazing Laina Shendoah. She strikes me as a posh beauty who wouldn_t typically do this sort of thing. I had to appeal to Laina_s curiosity and sense of adventure. Restoration Hardware asked us to leave, but again, it was just too late. The damage had been done. And FYI, beautiful women come in all shapes and sizes. It is purely a subjective decision that I alone make. I don_t try to see with anyone else_s eyes.

Most girls will tell you exactly how to make them happy, you just have to be smart enough to do two things: ask and listen. The listening part is the more important of the pair. I asked Logan Drae what generally catches her interest. Sports? Dancing? Art? Music? She said she liked relics from the past. So it clicked in my brain that there is an exceptional antique store just minutes from my place. I took her there and she fell in love. These photos are what resulted.

The mask mandate is coming to an end in my state next week, which is good because the mesh face covering that I have reused during the whole pandemic is filthy. I probably should have washed it. I probably should have used hand sanitizer more than five times in the last year. I probably should not walk barefoot everywhere and touch everything. I probably should use soap when washing my hands. I probably shouldn_t have taken all those flights and eaten overpriced burrito bowls mid-air. But don_t worry, I will learn my lesson. I will be crippled by fear one day. Until then, I plan to keep chasing beauties like Ulyana Orsk. Old habits are hard to break.
