Blake Crawford appreciated the idea of photographing her with a natural, unrefined look. She understood that sometimes its better to not tamper much with a good thing. One of my favorite quotes is: if it ain_t broke, don_t break it. Ok, so its just my own version of an all ready popular idiom, but that is how I often feel about cosmetic modifications such as makeup, piercings, surgery, tattoos, and sometimes even shavinghair removal. Anyhoo, Blake has a fantastic raw beauty and seemed perfectly comfortable in her own skin.

Coco Rose is a 20-something stunning brunette with a kinky side. I was lucky to meet and photograph her. Even though I_m not a huge fan of porn, I keep an eye on a small segment of the industry. I have noticed that every site seems to fall into a comfortable routine and eventually becomes very predictable. Predictable entertainment, talk about an oxymoron. As an artist, that terrifies me. I know that if I do not keep it interesting for myself, it definitely won_t stay interesting for you, the viewer. How does one prevent that? One evolves. Unfortunately, so many people are too afraid to do the very thing. The reason I bring this up today is because much of the _glamcore_ industry does high-key lighting with models in white garments, just like how I did here with Coco. Fear not, I shall not succumb to the glamcore formula and castrate myself creatively. It just sure looked nice on Coco in her thin white leggings.

Photographing a girl from a wealthy family in North Carolina is a special treat. It was well worth the drive to the remote Richfield estate. Even though the compound has its own vineyard, lake, and garden courtyard, the most beautiful entity by far is Fawn. She is nineteen and boldly invited me to photograph her while her father was on a business trip. Happy Valentine_s Day, Sweeties.

She is also sweet as all hell and as shy as a bottle rocket, which means not shy in the least. We snuck into the stadium where UCLA baseball plays. Then we took to the streets and I showed Karla a wealthy person_s desert landscaping that caught my eye in the neighborhood. All this was on a Sunday morn, too early for anyone to bitch at us. Krasnodar is not a hugely popular tourist destination in Russia, but I had my reasons for visiting. Namely, Diana Sedova (orange top) and Victoria Minina (white). These two attractive young women showed me around at the stadium built for the 2018 World Cup. It was easy to become overwhelmed by all the photo-worthy opportunities. Upon editing these photos, I realized how the sequence makes no sense. Why would Kelly Lamprin rub lotion on her skin only to jump into the shower shortly after? Did anyone notice this oddity before reading these notes? If you did, you deserve a badge for being hyper-observant. I certainly would have missed it. All of my attention would be drawn to this incredible girl shedding her underwear and enjoying a hot shower. The water was so warm it made Kelly_s bottom turn red. I found that to be absurdly cute. After drying off, Kelly rushed to her job at a local movie theater. Her clientele must have had no clue that they just missed the real show. BTW, a monthly subscription to Zishy costs less than a movie ticket. Just sayin_.
