Here is what I know about August Ames. She was never a diva to me even though she had every right to be. She was loyal to her agent, which is unusually rare in the adult industry. Energy, enthusiasm, and joy emanated from August every time I photographed her. She cared deeply about her family. She did things in her life that most would consider filthy, but August was brave enough not to hide them. I will always think of her as a kind-hearted person. I don_t know exactly why she took her own life, but I know people can and probably should be nicer to one another. Even online.

I used to work for a man who photographed naked girls for a living. His photos did not leave much to the imagination. This man also had a family, including a daughter, who was quite pretty. Sadly, he died over a year ago before his kids were out of high school. I still wonder if he would have supported his daughter if she desired to model for his type of work. I think I would have to swallow my reservations if I faced a similar situation. I would not want to be a hypocrite in my own child_s eyes. I would, however, explain that she should not expect a career from that sort of modeling. If she was only doing it for money, it would be a horrible idea. Now, adventure--that is a different story. I can always get behind a middle finger to the conservative mindset. Marley Kunis says her father holds some sort of prestigious position. I hope that he, and all the fathers of Zishy girls, never feel shame for their daughter_s decision. And you dads out there reading this, how would you react to your kid posing for sexy photos--given they are of age, of course?

Debbie Vogel is from San Francisco. It is one of the most beautiful cities that I have ever visited. It seems that the beauty has rubbed off on this 19 year old. Her natural body is a sight to behold. She comes out to LA every couple of months for modeling gigs. Her fashionable looks easily land her fashionable modeling jobs. She was staying at her friends place in LA, who also photographs Debbie, and apparently he had no idea that she does any underwear modeling. So it was her wish that we shot quickly in his living room while he was out running errands in the morning. But while we were in the middle of taking these, he unexpectedly arrives and she is embarrassed as all hell. I asked her the reason for keeping it a secret and she says that once a guy knows that you take provocative photos, that style is the only one he will want to take of you. And by that, she proved to me she was not only pretty, but also smart.

I knew right from the get-go that I liked Kenna James. I explained that we would have a long drive and probably hit some traffic getting to Underwood Farms. But we both agreed that an authentic Autumn experience was worth the sacrifice. So we grabbed some tacos and jumped on the highway. Our visit was a blast. The weather was perfect, we got lost in a corn maze, took plenty of adventurous photos and Kenna fell in love with the goats and chickens. She is currently in school pursuing veterinary medicine.
