Freezing temps have also been felt right across the continent with Russia, France and Belgium experiencing records lows. Rome also saw its biggest snowfall in years. Here_s hoping it passes quickly, and in the meantime... snowball fights at the Vatican Bad news for _Pharma Bro_ Martin Shkreli tends to be good news for everyone else, so here_s some good news: a judge has ruled Shkreli should be held responsible for OVER TEN MILLION DOLLARS in investor losses He_s already been convicted of securities fraud, but his lawyers were arguing that he didn_t cause losses because his investors eventually came out ahead. With that argument rejected, under federal guidelines, he could be facing a prison sentence of up to a decade or longer Sentencing is scheduled for March 9th. And if you_ve got a Citigroup credit card, you could have some money coming your way Citigroup announced recently that it had failed to reduce the interest rate on nearly TWO MILLION credit card accounts dating back to 2011. Basically, what happened was some people whose rates went up as a penalty failed to have their rates reduced again when they went back to paying on time. As a result, Citibank will be issuing refunds totaling 335 MILLION DOLLARS I smell a shopping spree I_ll be back with more headlines shortly, over to you Eila.

After fake headlines played such a big role in the American election, Facebook has been on the offensive, suspending tens of thousands of accounts in Britain and a full THIRTY thousand in France before their election And that_s REAL news And Steven Seagal just got a slap in the face. Hopefully, we_ll learn more about him before The Gong Show revival begins on June 22nd Oliver Stone is a well-known conspiracy theorist, so you know he_s excited to be living through a conspiracy that is, at this point, accepted truth And that_s why we_re excited for his new documentary, The Putin Interviews The director actually got to sit down with the Russian leader, and as we know from the trailer, he asked the question on everyone_s minds Damn I guess we_ll see if that question earned him more than a smirk and a one-way ticket to Siberia when the first part of The Putin Interviews airs on Showtime on June 12th Moving on from Russian dictators to American Gods, it_s time for our Stream This pick of the week. American Gods is based on the 2001 novel of the same name and is nothing short of epic, with many larger than life characters...of mythological proportions Like Game of Thrones before it, American Gods is poised to move rapidly from cult classic to fan favorite And as you_ll see in Friday_s Hollywood Xposed, it_s a feast for the eyes in more ways than one. Jackson Or, knowing Eddie Murphy, he might play BOTH parts Space Jam 2 is officially a go LeBron James is teaming up with Ryan Coogler for a reboot of the basketball comedy Coogler struck gold with both Creed and Black Panther, and LeBron is betting he can do the same here LeBron_s company SpringHill Entertainment is working with Coogler as a producer. Filming is set to begin in the next NBA off-season, and if LeBron can carry a movie like he carries a team, it should be a hell of a show There are very few things in life as good as Angelina Jolie on a rampage... so we_ve got good news The knockout actress will star in the adaptation of The Kept. If you haven_t read the novel, it_s set in 1897 and follows a midwife who returns home to find her family murdered and later takes off to search for the men responsible And as I_m sure Brad Pitt_s lawyers can tell you, you do NOT want to get between Angelina and her kids Now, we_ve got a new trailer for a new movie that might feel like an old movie That_s because Stan & Ollie is about the legendary comedy duo Laurel and Hardy and follows them on their only-sometimes-triumphant farewell tour The comic duo are played here by Steve Coogan and John C. Reilly, and I think Laurel and Hardy themselves would be impressed... though very surprised to be alive again For the next best thing to their resurrection, Stan & Ollie is in theaters January 11th. That_s why NBC is giving us more of it Hosts Colin Jost and Michael Che will be ready for prime time this summer NBC has given the half-hour show a four episode pickup. It_ll hit the airwaves on August 10th Producers for Game of Thrones recently revealed that a BIG name guest will appear on the upcoming season: pop star Ed Sheeran They also revealed that the eighth and final season will only be six episodes long I_d complain more bitterly, but I_ve got to admit, they did warn us winter was coming Season 7 premieres on July 16th Most shows dip in quality as their run goes on, but America_s Got Talent just got a major upgrade Nick Cannon BAILED out on the show earlier this year, and now we know who_s replacing him: Tyra Freakin_ Banks I_m really excited to see the energetic Miss Banks doing her thing. Plus the action looks awesome It_s a Marvel series, it_s got martial arts, including an ass-kicking lady, and series star Finn Jones was a Game of Thrones regular That_s good enough for me All 13 episodes of Iron Fist begin streaming on Netflix this Friday. And if you_ve got a Citigroup credit card, you could have some money coming your way Citigroup announced recently that it had failed to reduce the interest rate on nearly TWO MILLION credit card accounts dating back to 2011. Basically, what happened was some people whose rates went up as a penalty failed to have their rates reduced again when they went back to paying on time.
