He was fired last October as a bartender from the Weatherington Golf and Country Club - often frequented by Boehner. After being let go Hoyt emailed Boehner_s wife telling her he could have easily poisoned the Speaker_s wine many times. When questioned by police Hoyt claimed that voices in his head told him Boehner was the devil and that he was responsible for Ebola. Hoyt also admitted to planning to shoot Boehner with a Beretta. The bizarre details came to light in a grand jury indictment filed in US District Court which were made public Tuesday.The US Department of Homeland security is ramping up screening measures at airports across the country. This after terrorist group al-Qaeda published detailed instructions on how to make a so-called invisible bomb that could take down a passenger jet. The article was printed in the latest edition of al-Qaeda_s English-language online magazine Inspire. As a result of this and the recent attack on Charlie Hebdo the TSA will be searching more passengers. Authorities say it_s all a precaution and that there is no imminent or credible threat to air travel. And a British hacker has been linked to the group responsible for attacking the Pentagon_s Twitter and YouTube feeds on Monday. US and European authorities believe 20-year old Junaid Hussain is the leader of the group which calls itself the CyberCaliphate. In 2012 Hussain was jailed for hacking into the personal address book of former British PM Tony Blair. He_s believed to have moved from England to Syria in the last two years. New figures from the US Congressional Budget Office show that the country_s federal deficit fell dramatically in 2014 The deficit is the difference between what the government spends and how much money it takes in. With the fiscal year ending September 30th the deficit was roughly 486 billion dollars. Compare that to a high of 1.4 TRILLION in 2009. It_s actually the fifth straight year that the deficit number has dropped. The CBO attributes that to higher taxes smarter government spending and an economy that_s on the mend.And the White House says the new and improved HealthCare.gov website is ready to take on record amounts of web traffic expected next month. That_s when people will be able to enroll in private insurance programs for 2015. Officials are confident that when the three month signup period begins on November 15th there won_t be any embarrassing bugs or glitches like there were last time. The site_s highest day for traffic came on March 31st when it saw a record 4.8 million visitors. In other news the US Justice Department has announced plans for a thorough investigation of the police department in Ferguson Missouri. All aspects of the Ferguson PD - which came under national scrutiny for the shooting death of Michael Brown will be subject to federal review. The probe will look at past complaints involving Ferguson police as well as training and day-to-day operations. Sources close to the matter say the investigation is very serious and could lead to a federal takeover of the department. CVS is going tobacco-free a little earlier than expected The pharmacy chain has COMPLETELY eliminated the sale of cigarettes and other tobacco products in their stores. It had previously announced the ban would take effect by October first. To underscore the move CVS officially changed its name to CVS Health. It_s the FIRST major pharmacy chain to stop selling cigarettes. The move could cost CVS as much as two BILLION dollars in annual revenue.And car company Tesla has chosen Nevada as the location for its giant battery factory. The Silver State beat out California Texas New Mexico and Arizona to win the business. The Gigafactory project will cost anywhere from four to five BILLION dollars and employ as many as 65 hundred workers. It_s unclear WHERE exactly in Nevada the plant is to be built.
