Right Now though Kat Curtis has your FIRST LOOK at the news. Isabella in Ferguson Missouri Mayor James Knowles has fired one police department employee and put two others on administrative leave. The decisions came just a few hours after an investigative report was released by the Department of Justice which found severe racial bias in the policing of the town_s citizens. The federal investigation blamed the Ferguson PD for creating the tense atmosphere that erupted following the shooting death of unarmed teen Michael Brown. Mayor Knowles says the report will allow his administration to focus on racial issues in Ferguson and around St. Louis. The Food and Drug Administration is warning about the use of some popular testosterone-boosting drugs. They say commonly prescribed AndroGel and Axiron have not been deemed safe OR effective for treating common age-related male issues like libido and fatigue. At the moment the drugs are ONLY approved for treating low testosterone levels triggered by disease or injury - not aging. The FDA says the drugs could also increase the risk of heart attack and stroke. The agency is calling on drugmakers to add that information to their labels. And a damning 60 Minutes report on potentially hazardous floorboard laminates has triggered calls on Capitol Hill for a federal investigation. 60 Minutes found that Lumber Liquidators was selling floorboards imported from China that had unsafe levels of formaldehyde - a glue used in woods known to cause a host of health problems including cancer. Consumers who think the toxic flooring may be installed in their homes are advised to call an environmental engineer. We_ll be right back. Chess IS a game of strategy and brilliance. Players assess their opponent_s moves examine every option and anticipate multiple moves ahead. In the Renaissance and Middle ages the nobles often played and the game was even used to teach strategy for war. It_s a board game and yet most people could name at least a couple of its top players. Truly chess is a noble game.Until now. Georgian champion and grand Master Gaioz Nigalidze is accused of CHEATING at the Dubai Open Chess Tournament. And not just cheating - cheating in the DUMBEST way possible. After many of his moves he_d run to the bathroom raising the suspicion of his opponent Armenian Tigran Petrosian. Particularly since each visit took longer then normal AND he kept using the same stall. But after Petrosian complained to officials they searched that stall and found an iPhone wrapped in toilet paper hidden behind the toilet.Nigalidze denied it was his phone. But it had a chess app that was analyzing the very game he was playing Oh and it was also logged into his social networking site. So. yeah. So much for being witness to the ultimate test of cerebral fitness. Nigalidze was turfed from the tourney and faces a three year ban from ALL tournaments. But if he_s found to be a repeat offender he could be banned for FIFTEEN years.I just want to know how someone could POSSIBLY have thought that going to the bathroom multiple times for a long PERIOD of time would go unnoticed.
