Djokovic has had some really tough luck at Roland Garros - he_s been the runner-up three years in a rowMeanwhile it was a weekend to forget for Tiger Woods at the Memorial Tournament in Ohio. Tiger shot a brutal 85 on Saturday marking the worst single round of his career That put him in last place in the field of 71 players who made the cut. As a result he had to play the final round all by himself Tiger shot a forgettable 74 on Sunday to finish with 302 strokes on the weekend - also the worst total of his career. In Formula One there wasn_t much excitement at the Canadian Grand Prix but I_m sure Lewis Hamilton didn_t mind The Mercedes driver cruised from start to finish for an easy win in Montreal. The only car even close to him belonged to his teammate Hamilton and Nico Rosberg took the first two spots for Mercedes and both padded their comfy leads in the F1 driver standings. It was an emotional win on the NASCAR track for Martin Truex Jr. He_d led the most laps in the last three races but had come up empty. That all changed Sunday at Pocono Raceway. Truex took the checkered flag and then had an emotional celebration in Victory Lane with his girlfriend who_s been fighting cancer. Truex was mobbed by rival drivers who wanted to congratulate him on the win which he says was easily the biggest of his career.And the 37-year wait is over On Saturday American Pharoah accomplished one of the rarest feats in sports: winning horse racing_s Triple Crown American Pharoah went wire-to-wire in front of a roaring crowd in the Belmont Stakes. Apple is predicting that its SECOND quarter will fall well short of revenue generated during the same period last year. Investors are pointing to the volatile global economy as the company_s biggest challenge in the next year. And Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak will NOT face corruption charges over a cash gift from the Saudi royal family. The country_s attorney general has ruled that the 681 MILLION dollar payment was not a bribe and that it was a private matter between the two parties. The embattled prime minister has faced numerous allegations of misappropriating state funds in recent years and opposition leaders have already condemned the decision. Kat Curtis is in the newsroom with some highlights. And they did it Eila in front of a home town crowd - that was the first time THAT happened since 1938 There_s no question Chicago is the HAPPIEST city in the US right now. That_s right because there ain_t no party like a Stanley Cup party Here_s the story. The Chicago Blackhawks beat the Tampa Bay Lighting two-nothing in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final and people are talking DYNASTY As Eila mentioned it_s the Blackhawks third win in 6 years. Over 20 thousand Chicago went nuts as Duncan Keith and Patrick Kane scored a goal each. And what can you say about goaltender Corey Crawford He_s been amazing throughout the series including his 25 saves last night. Blackhawks CEO John McDonough called it a reward for the city of Chicago and we couldn_t agree more. Congratulations gentlemen. In other news making headlines today the National Hurricane Center is warning Texas residents to prepare for an unwelcome visitor - Tropical Storm Bill. The storm hit the coastline between Houston and Corpus Christi Tuesday morning bringing up to 10 inches of rain and 60 mile per hour winds. Much of Texas is still recovering from record rainfall in May and the devastating flooding it caused. Flood watches are currently in effect from Texas up to southern Illinois.And SpaceX billionaire ElonMusk is asking the public to help with his newest project the Hyperloop. It might sound like a cool new roller coaster but it_s actually a futuristic transportation system. The proposal would see passengers travel in capsules through a giant tube at up to 750 miles per hour We_re talking San Francisco to L.A in 30 minutes. SpaceX has launched a competition for engineering teams to design the prototype capsules and will begin live-testing the entries in June 2016. Sir Elton has two IVF children with his long-term partner David Furnish. He lashed out at Dolce on Instagram saying IVF allowed loving people both straight and gay to fulfill their dreams of having a family. Elton_s vowed to NEVER wear any D&G clothing again. It was a rough weekend for British rock royalty Heather Mills the ex-wife of Paul McCartney got a bit prickly when asked about the former Beatle on Ireland_s The Late Late Show. They do it in homage to a famous scene from the series_ third season. The place is actually owned by an elderly couple whom Gilligan calls the nicest people in the world. He_s urging people to write down the license plate of anyone seen lurking around the home with a pizza box.And consider this proof that there_s a sucker born every minute. Someone claiming to have captured air from a 2013 Kanye West concert posted the bag on Ebay for five dollars... and watched as bids jumped all the way up to sixty-five THOUSAND Ebay pulled the post down and it_s not clear if a deal was finalized but the posting inspired another dozen-or-so copycats that also received bids. And Roseanne Barr is looking to become California_s queen of cannabis. The Roseanne_s Joint dispensary is set to open in Santa Ana with Roseanne as a major investor. The shop will sell Roseanne-branded marijuana strains and products. That_ll apparently include weed-infused chocolate-covered macadamia nuts cultivated from her own nut farm in Hawaii. It_s a logical business step for Roseanne ladies. It_s a well known fact that she uses medical marijuana for a glaucoma issue. In the midst of a devastating winter storm TWO separate oil tankers are ripped apart leaving both crews just hours from death. When the call from the FIRST ship comes in the main coast guard team heads to their rescue. Unfortunately that means that when the SECOND ship calls for help there are just 4 novices and a single 36-foot lifeboat remaining. Some might call it a suicide mission but for these honor-bound men risking their lives is just another part of the job. The dialogue comes across as corny and predictable at times-hey this IS a Disney film after all Once our heroes hit the water we really start to really feel the tension and then it_s FULL SPEED AHEAD to an action-packed climax. The Finest Hours is out now. It might SOUND like a follow-up to last year_s sexy smash hit but Fifty Shades of BLACK is more likely to tickle your FUNNY bone than any other body part. The parody comes from the warped mind of comedian Marlon Wayans-he wrote it AND takes top billing as the mysterious Christian Black. If you thought the original Fifty Shades was filthy you ain_t seen nothin_ yet From f-bombs to raunchy jokes to explicit sex scenes this movie MORE than earns it_s R rating. And while it_s not exactly high-brow satire it does a good job of reminding us not to take the whole Fifty Shades mania too seriously. Check it out in theaters everywhere.
