The narrative flows pretty smooth, often taking unexpected turns, and offers a cold, steely look at the Japanese porn magazine industry. Some of the supporting characters are very well-written. It may appear to some viewers that a lot of events are happening out of nowhere, but who cares about that when those are shot so well and look so good on screen?
