When I lived in Arizona, I had to get up to run before the Sun poked its head over the horizon and started scorching everything in its path. The heat is no joke. But after one of these sweat-sucking runs, I would turn the shower to the coldest setting and step into Ecstasy. After that, the rest of the day was a mellow marshmallow. It does not take much even for a Polish woman, like Tracy Maura, to break a sweat in the Sonoran Desert heat.

She does not drive and claims to suffer from OCD. Yes, that is a _bacon_ ring on her finger. People like Aysha are the most fun to photograph. The enjoyment that she exudes during a shoot is palpable. On this day, I was afflicted with camera problems. If Aysha_s unique energy was not there to pull me through, someone would have found a Canon DSLR thrown in the middle of the highway.

Description:
These photos of Candace Mazlin remind me of a weekend when I was with the girl who stole my heart. We had just woken up and I heard her step out of bed and into the bathroom. She had no reservations about leaving the door open. I grabbed my camera and snapped a pic as she sat on her porcelain throne without a strip of clothing on. Was she upset? Was she disgusted? No, she sat there and gave me one of the brightest smiles I have ever seen. It is one of my favorite photos and no one has nor will anyone likely get to see it. The song in the video is Boogie Man by Mos Def.

Now, she_s a gymnastics coach, model, waitress, etc. I got the feeling that she is very devoted to her family and helping them out financially. I took her around Santa Monica for some Sunday morning donuts and photos. It wasn_t hard to get Willow to chomp on these delicious treats.
