Description:
I wanted to capture something familiar in Florida, so Eloisa Guerra and her boyfriend took me to Twistee Treat. This dessert chain mixes a substance that resembles ice cream with a flavored paint of your choice. Amazing. A brief rainstorm passed through and had Eloisa dripping momentarily. Our beautiful Cubana was hardly phased. The three of us hopped back into the Fiat and caught the setting sun at a nearby park. Recently, a naked woman that I was photographing asked me what the purpose of my site was. I had to ponder this for a bit. Zishy is the graphic equivalent of romance novels for men.

Lindsay Bare returns. She is a fantastic girl who gives me the impression that zero fucks are given regularly on her behalf. I asked her if she_d steal some shots with me at this local bowling alley. She was totally down. Lindsay didn_t even mind that it is only blocks away from her home. I respect that level of nonchalance. The other day someone asked if I ever get kicked out of places where I shoot. Here_s one example. Minutes into taking pictures in the arcade, a loyal employee told us we had to leave. Was anyone being harmed? Were there kids or even adults around that were being offended? No. Just the same, we were not welcome in their fine establishment. No problemo, Westminster Lanes. We_ll take our photos outside. Shown here, is Jerry, an obvious patron of the alley who came out to pay a compliment to leggy Lindsay. If only he ran the joint

Description:
Gloria Paquette is a stoner. She has a health condition and marijuana helps .... yada, yada, yada. Look, the truth is many people like how getting high feels. Is it escapism? Yeah, but so is drinking alcohol, so is recreational sex, so is music, so are books, so is getting all worked up about athletes throwing around a ball and trying to tackle one another. People like a bunch of different and often pointless things. I do enjoy getting high every now and then, but I also realize that it comes with a price, at least for me. I become less productive, more prone to mood swings, etc. So I keep it to a minimum. Gloria says she is not able to function without her weed. She smokes wax or dabs which are much more potent than simply smoking the marijuana flower, hence the sinister-looking apparatus. It also requires the use of a butane torch, not shown here. At first, even I was taken aback at the sight.

Went on a hike near the Hollywood sign with Isla Brown. Isla is filled with delight when she gets to tease the camera. Living in a city like LA can wear on you. There are millions of people around you, doing exactly what you are doing trying to survive and have a bit of fun before biting the big one. When other Angelenos become annoyances rather than beings that I sympathize with, I get outside for some vitamin E. The beach, a trail, a park I owe a lot of my remaining sanity to these places.
