Meanwhile, Facebook is looking pretty bad after investigative journalists revealed that advertisers on the social media platform can target racists Specifically, news site The Intercept found it was able to promote articles to, quote, people who have expressed an interest or like pages related to White genocide conspiracy theory. And in case you were wondering, that detailed targeting found about a hundred and seventy thousand users Facebook has since deleted the category... but clearly has more work to do And Amazon MAY have found the home for its second headquarters. While nothing_s been confirmed, The Washington Post recently reported that Amazon held advanced discussions about setting up shop in Crystal City in Northern Virginia, close to Washington, D.C. I know, and it_s got everyone talking, not only because of the extreme security measures around New York but because of how high profile this guy is And if anyone has watched the El Chapo series on Netflix, then you know the power and influence this guy once wielded.Well, another chapter in his story is about to be written. Here_s Betsy Swoon with a Naked News Bulletin. The trial of Joaquin _El Chapo_ Guzman is currently underway in New York City. The drug lord who headed up a multi-BILLION DOLLAR operation is facing SEVENTEEN charges, including drug trafficking and conspiracy to murder. The trial is expected to last around four months, during which time the anonymous jurors will receive armed escorts to and from court every day Testimony is expected from some of El Chapo_s former associates, and he faces life in prison... hopefully in a place without tunnels In other news, hate crimes are on the rise in America. Data released by the FBI shows there were SEVEN THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-FIVE hate crime incidents in 2017, about a thousand more than in 2016. That_s a SEVENTEEN percent increase Roughly sixty percent of the incidents were motivated by racial bias, about half of which were anti-Black. Another twenty percent were motivated by religious bias, and about sixty percent of those were anti-Jewish. I_m just glad Sammy Davis Jr. isn_t alive to see this.
