I like Mike Judge, creator of Beavis and Butthead, Office Space, King of the Hill, etc. His humor has a heart and humility to it that I find lacking among his peers. Perhaps my favorite aspect of his work is that he keeps it simple. There is magic in simplicity. I believe this even applies when photographing a lady like Coco Rose. Sure, I could rent a mansion with an ocean view, hire a professional makeup artist, set up lights, make photo assistants wipe my nose, blah flickin_ blah. But what is the end game? What are you really here for? My guess is that you want what I want: some sexy photos of an adorable girl. Give me that wholesome entertainment that I can relate to. Give me that frog baseball.

Photographing Carlee Delima in her dorm made me reminisce about my own college days. That era in my life is mostly marked by failure. I failed at friendships, I failed at being a considerate roommate, I failed at holding a job, I failed at hitting on girls, I failed at relationships once I got a girl, I failed at staying focused on my studies. I failed in so many ways that eventually the only possible outcome was for me to develop some sense of maturity. Failure at that age was not from error in judgment, it was from the lack of judgment. Now that my twenties are behind me, I realize that failure was just part of growing up. If you can survive and you can learn, any failure can be converted into success. Luckily, here, Carlee failed to listen to the part of society that tells girls their worth is lost if they take provocative photos.

Zishy.com- Wanda Ablee Torchys Then Loews





Description:
I took these with Wanda Ablee somewhere in Texas. Many people swear by the quality of Torchy_s Tacos. I think it_s pretty good but definitely not what I consider authentic Mexican cuisine. Their Democrat or Crossroads tacos are great if you enjoy beef. My favorite Mexican food is made by perspiring grandmothers in confined spaces. Sometimes the middle-aged male with hairless forearms will also suffice. But never forget the sweat. The sweat is most important.
