He noticed I had a camera and asked if I had a business card. I knew right away that my photographic services were not what he sought. Oh, you are pretty. I have a t-shirt with the letters OMAK on the front. It was given to me by a friend because I liked the design. The meaning of the letters was unimportant to me. Which is a good thing since even my friend is not certain. He did recall the OM meaning something like _observe merit_. I bring up this shirt because when I photograph a girl like Kirsten Diatta, it is hard not to recognize the merit of her character. The young women in my photographs are bold. Aside from giving their trust to a stranger, they are putting themselves out there for all to scrutinize. In a society that is quick to slut-shame and impose double standards on women_s sexuality, that takes balls. Zishy will always be home to beautiful women with balls.

Nicole Wetzel and I strolled to a nearby park in the Beverly Hills area. There were a bunch of school buses parked in the lot with no clear reason as to why. We took these fairly quickly as we thought for sure the drivers, who were sitting in the buses, would object soon enough. To our surprise, when a driver finally approached us, he was friendly and couldn_t care less. Nicole_s tall frame in these tiny shorts did draw some comments and even cell phone pics from highschoolers who eventually flooded the park towards the end of our shoot. The 19 year-old Nicole brushed it off like a pro.

We then quenched Ursa_s thirst at Jamba Juice and snapped some more pics on San Vicente. Ursa had nothing on besides her romper which led to the pleasant discovery at the end of the gallery.
