Turkey_s largest city is a gateway between Europe and Asia, and has the heaviest traffic during peak hours on the planet. A 30-minute drive there will take you more than an hour during the evening rush Mexico City and Rio de Janeiro rounded up the top three spots. And over in North America, Los Angeles keeps its crown as the least driver-friendly city - but ranks just 10th worldwide. A thousand-year old Anglo-Saxon concoction once used to treat eye infections could hold the key to a cure for the MRSA superbug Microbiologists went to work on a remedy translated from a 10th century medical textbook found at the British Library in London. The recipe uses basic ingredients like garlic, wine, and bile from a cow_s stomach. But it just happened at the Women_s World Cup in Canada Kyah Simon potted the go-ahead goal in the 80th minute and the Matildas held on for a stunning upset In other action, host nation Canada eked out a 1-nil victory of their own against Switzerland. It wasn_t pretty but they got the job done Canada and Australia are both into the final group of eight.On the Formula One racetrack, it was once again a two-man race between Mercedes teammates Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg This time however it was Rosberg beating Hamilton across the finish line. Nico passed Lewis at the start of the race and held on for a big win at the Austrian Grand Prix. Rosberg_s third checkered flag of the season narrows Hamilton_s lead just ten points in the drivers_ standings.If you ask Roger Federer where he loves playing most, he_ll tell you in Germany. That_s because on Sunday he beat Italy_s Andreas Seppi in straight sets for his record EIGHTH Gerry Weber Open title That_s eight trophies in ten appearances there The win was Roger_s fourth of the season, and gives him 86 on his incredible career.Last up, it was the battle of grumpy old men at Bellator 138, where 41-year old Kimbo Slice took on the 51-year old Ken Shamrock. This is what_s Trending Now During his 45 minute press conference at the Trump Tower in New York, Donald Trump bashed the Obama administration and promised to take a tougher stance on China... while simultaneously talking about how much he loved China. Everybody on social media has an opinion on Trump and BOY were they expressing them after his announcement, especially on Twitter where many in the entertainment industry were cracking jokes. I think we can ALL agree on this though, the GOP race JUST got a lot more interesting. All eyes in the gaming world have been on E3 this week, which is taking place right now in Los Angeles. There have been all kinds of huge announcements for gamers, but the most mindblowing had to be the Minecraft HoloLens demo from Microsoft. The video went viral the minute it hit the web. Hologram gaming The future is officially here That_s not the only E3-related headline creating buzz online. YouTube is launching its very own gaming service: YouTube Gaming Last year Google - which owns YouTube - lost out in a bidding war with Amazon to acquire Twitch, which has since become the go-to hub for live-streamed game video. Twitch draws 100 million visitors per month Google has basically copied Twitch for its YouTube Gaming service. It_ll offer 25-thousand games, and each one will have its own page. It_s easy to see why people are calling it a Twitch killer. The Apple Watch has become another huge hit for the tech giant. Prices vary, but if you_re really feeling fancy you can shell out 10-thousand dollars or more for a GOLD Apple Watch. The guys at Tech Rax did just that, and then smashed it to smithereens for your enjoyment in this vid that_s spread like wildfire. Those magnets hit the watch with the equivalent of 650 pounds of force. Does the warranty cover crushed by magnets?And what_s more surprising, that it_s 2015 and the band Smash Mouth still exists, or that that they_re the unfortunate stars of the week_s most talked-about web video? At the Taste of Fort Collins festival in Colorado, lead singer Steve Harwell totally lost it when fans started throwing slices of bread at the stage. Because a slice of bread could hurt someone, I guess? Things got UGLY. Harwell had to be held back by security as he cussed out his fans. I hear it was a pretty easy choice this week Angie.We always have a few candidates in the mix, Kat, but this week one stood head and shoulders above the pack - in all the worst ways The members of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity at the University of Oklahoma. They shamed themselves and everyone else associated with the national fraternity - and the University of Oklahoma. In case you missed it, a video came to light a few days ago capturing SAE frat members singing a racist song about when black people might be invited to pledge. Spoiler alert - the answer is never. So yeah. That_s a thing that happened. IN 2015 The source of the shameful 9-second video is unknown, but he or she obviously didn_t approve, because the vid was passed on to a campus equality group called Unheard. THEY posted it online, and it_s made headlines around the world - and rightfully so. You might expect this type of slimy behaviour at a Klan rally, but not with supposedly well-educated college kids. As you_d expect, the backlash around all this has been fierce. SAE denounced the actions of the Oklahoma chapter, apologized, and promised to investigate the incident. But that was hardly enough to satisfy most people. OU has dropped the hammer on the frat, booting the racist bums from their on-campus house and completely severing ties with SAE. Two of the frat members have been expelled. And to make matters worse, another video surfaced this week featuring SAE_s 79-year old house mother. She_d claimed she had no idea the boys in her frat sang songs like that. But the new video says otherwise. It shows her drunk and repeatedly chanting the n-word. Wow, what a charming bunchFallout from the video scandal is likely far from over. The OU campus has seen a number of demonstrations against racism this past week. The school_s famous football team even skipped a practice to take part in a protest, walking-arm-in-arm while wearing all black. The controversy has even cost the team a top-ranked recruit, who changed his mind about being a Sooner. As if the SAE clowns weren_t already hated enough on campus, now they_re messing with the school_s famous football program. Hisao Tanaka resigned after an independent panel reported that the company had overstated profits by over a BILLION dollars. The misreporting began after the 2008 financial crash when management felt pressure to keep the money rolling in. Shares in the company have dropped 20 percent since news of the investigation leaked in April. Toshiba will now have to restate all profits for the period between April 2008 and March 2014.Historic Grocery chain A&P has filed for bankruptcy. The 156-year-old company has struggled to compete against lower-cost competitors like Wal-Mart, as well as with higher-end options like Whole Foods. 120 of its nearly 300 stores will be sold off, affecting over 12 thousand of its 29 thousand-strong workforce. This is the SECOND time the troubled retailer has filed for bankruptcy protection. And a new poll from the Associated Press-GfK shows that Americans remain sharply divided over same-sex marriage. Only 39 percent approve of the Supreme Court decision to legalize gay marriage. Just under half of those polled believe officials with religious objections should not have to issue marriage licenses, and 56 percent believe that religious beliefs should trump the rights of same-sex couples. What is the DEAL with this man Andrea? Apparently he_s now saying he DID drug women for sex?That_s right, he basically admitted it during a 2005 deposition. The docs were just unsealed followed a request from the Associated Press.So much for all the denials I guess THIS really blows this story wide open. I think it does and you can bet attorneys for the women who have suits filed against him, will want to use the information. Anyway, here_s what_s going on Kat. Newly released court documents show that Bill Cosby ADMITTED to buying sedatives to give to women he wanted to have sex with. The testimony dates back to a civil suit filed against Cosby in 2005, when a woman accused him of drugging and sexually assaulting her. Before settling the case, the fallen comedian testified that he had given several women Quaaludes, as well as Benadryl. The Associated Press successfully petitioned for the case documents to be unsealed after a flood of recent allegations from over a dozen victims.In other news, Shell is set to begin a controversial project drilling for oil in the Arctic. The oil giant was granted permission from the US government back in May and has already committed 7 BILLION dollars in costs. Up to 20 percent of the world_s undiscovered oil and gas reserves could be located under the Arctic, although Shell doesn_t expect to see a commercial return until 2030. Environmentalists object to the project, citing the potential high-risks to the local ecosystem.And Mozambique just burned the world_s largest seizure of rhino horns, and ivory in a public stand against wildlife poaching. The African country has seen its elephant population HALVED in the past 5 years by ivory traffickers, while the rhinoceros has been driven to near extinction within Mozambique. They shamed themselves and everyone else associated with the national fraternity - and the University of Oklahoma. In case you missed it, a video came to light a few days ago capturing SAE frat members singing a racist song about when black people might be invited to pledge. Spoiler alert - the answer is never. So yeah. That_s a thing that happened. IN 2015 The source of the shameful 9-second video is unknown, but he or she obviously didn_t approve, because the vid was passed on to a campus equality group called Unheard. THEY posted it online, and it_s made headlines around the world - and rightfully so. You might expect this type of slimy behaviour at a Klan rally, but not with supposedly well-educated college kids. As you_d expect, the backlash around all this has been fierce. SAE denounced the actions of the Oklahoma chapter, apologized, and promised to investigate the incident. But that was hardly enough to satisfy most people. OU has dropped the hammer on the frat, booting the racist bums from their on-campus house and completely severing ties with SAE. Two of the frat members have been expelled. And to make matters worse, another video surfaced this week featuring SAE_s 79-year old house mother. She_d claimed she had no idea the boys in her frat sang songs like that. But the new video says otherwise. It shows her drunk and repeatedly chanting the n-word. Wow, what a charming bunchFallout from the video scandal is likely far from over. The OU campus has seen a number of demonstrations against racism this past week. The school_s famous football team even skipped a practice to take part in a protest, walking-arm-in-arm while wearing all black. The controversy has even cost the team a top-ranked recruit, who changed his mind about being a Sooner. As if the SAE clowns weren_t already hated enough on campus, now they_re messing with the school_s famous football program. Hisao Tanaka resigned after an independent panel reported that the company had overstated profits by over a BILLION dollars. The misreporting began after the 2008 financial crash when management felt pressure to keep the money rolling in. Shares in the company have dropped 20 percent since news of the investigation leaked in April. Toshiba will now have to restate all profits for the period between April 2008 and March 2014.Historic Grocery chain A&P has filed for bankruptcy. The 156-year-old company has struggled to compete against lower-cost competitors like Wal-Mart, as well as with higher-end options like Whole Foods. 120 of its nearly 300 stores will be sold off, affecting over 12 thousand of its 29 thousand-strong workforce. This is the SECOND time the troubled retailer has filed for bankruptcy protection. And a new poll from the Associated Press-GfK shows that Americans remain sharply divided over same-sex marriage. Only 39 percent approve of the Supreme Court decision to legalize gay marriage. Just under half of those polled believe officials with religious objections should not have to issue marriage licenses, and 56 percent believe that religious beliefs should trump the rights of same-sex couples. Newly released court documents show that Bill Cosby ADMITTED to buying sedatives to give to women he wanted to have sex with. The testimony dates back to a civil suit filed against Cosby in 2005, when a woman accused him of drugging and sexually assaulting her. Before settling the case, the fallen comedian testified that he had given several women Quaaludes, as well as Benadryl. The Associated Press successfully petitioned for the case documents to be unsealed after a flood of recent allegations from over a dozen victims.In other news, Shell is set to begin a controversial project drilling for oil in the Arctic. The oil giant was granted permission from the US government back in May and has already committed 7 BILLION dollars in costs. Up to 20 percent of the world_s undiscovered oil and gas reserves could be located under the Arctic, although Shell doesn_t expect to see a commercial return until 2030. Environmentalists object to the project, citing the potential high-risks to the local ecosystem.And Mozambique just burned the world_s largest seizure of rhino horns, and ivory in a public stand against wildlife poaching. The African country has seen its elephant population HALVED in the past 5 years by ivory traffickers, while the rhinoceros has been driven to near extinction within Mozambique. Ivory and rhino horns are highly coveted in China and for use in traditional medicines in Vietnam.
