If it happens, the Adidas contract would make Harden more money than his contract with the Houston Rockets NFL training camp started this week, and just as Houston Texans fans were getting pumped up for a new season, their star running back gets hurt in the very first practice Arian Foster has injured his groin - AGAIN. It seems to happen at some point every season, but THIS year, sources close to Foster believe he_ll need surgery. Early predictions are that he won_t see the playing field until week 8. In other football news, Tom Brady_s Deflategate suspension has had an impact in Vegas. The league_s decision to uphold Brady_s 4-game ban has made the Indianapolis Colts the favorites to win the AFC this year. The Colts - who were the team that brought the Deflategate scandal to the NFL_s attention in the first place - are 8 to 1 to win the conference. But if you think the Patriots are still the team to beat, you_ll never get better value than you will right now. The Super Bowl champs are 10 to 1 to win the conference.Soon the recent FIFA scandal will be commemorated in its very own exhibit... at the Mob Museum The National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement in Las Vegas is prepping a new FIFA showcase. It will include pictures, news articles, and original stories from investigators. Curators say it will provide an eye-opening look into the rampant corruption that plagues soccer_s governing body. In May, 9 current and former FIFA officials were indicted for their roles in a 24-year bribery scheme worth 150 million dollars.It_s good to be soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, but it_s also good to be his agent. Here_s some background: The Columbus Zoo is widely considered one of the best zoos in North America, with over two million people visiting a year, generally without incident.Enter Joshua Newell. He recently visited the zoo, and while at the cougar habitat, started calling here kitty, kitty. Some of the big cats came over to check things out. Pretty lucky, right? I mean, if you go to a zoo, you always hope the animals will come close enough for you to really get a good look. But our guy Joshua had other ideas. So he hopped over the four-foot barrier, stuck his hand through the two metal fences, and started petting the animals. He was quoted as saying I figured if the cats going to go out of his way to get some loving, Im going to go ahead and jump the barrier and show him some love. I don_t have to tell you how lucky he is that the cougars chose not to bite off any fingers. And FRANKLY, I dont mean lucky for HIM. I mean lucky for the COUGARS. Do you know what happens when zoo animals maim people? They often get euthanized. Here_s the best part, he tried to DEFLECT some of the blame to the zoo, saying that it was easy to hop the barrier and get to the inner fence. Well, Joshua, literally MILLIONS of other people have been smart enough to NOT do it, so no, we think YOUre the problem. On the plus side, he VIDEOED his little adventure which helped ensure he was quickly arrested, charged, and convicted of criminal trespassing. He_ll spend two days in jail and pay a fine. PS, you_re still a perfect 10 in OUR books.Now for a video we love that_s gone viral on YouTube. Young artist Jae West went to London_s Piccadilly Circus to conduct a rather unique social experiment. She stripped down to her underwear, put on a blindfold, and held out some markers. West has struggled with body issues in the past, and encouraged anyone who_d felt the same to draw hearts on her body. She created quite the stir in the busy district, but the public response was overwhelmingly POSITIVE. Her courage and creativity has turned her into an overnight sensation You wouldn_t normally associate McDonald_s employees with sex appeal, but that_s exactly what_s happening in Taiwan A female cashier named Wei Han Xu has become a national celebrity thanks to her unusual doll-like features. A blogger posted her photos on the web, and ever since the restaurant_s been flooded with people lining up to take her photo. They_ve dubbed her the McDonald_s Goddess, and she_s since appeared on a number of Taiwanese game shows. Over on Reddit, people are freaking out over THIS photo of a wolf spider and its HUNDREDS of babies. The pic was snapped by a Redditor in Queensland Australia, and pretty much guarantees that I_ll NEVER go there. Hundreds of people commented on the post. Some of our favorite replies? Cyber thieves known as The Impact Team have released the personal details of site members online. The hackers claim Ashley Madison LIED to customers by not deleting the accounts of former customers, EVEN when they had paid for that info to be removed. Although no numbers have been confirmed, up to 37 MILLION users in 50 countries could be affected. Now let_s send things over to Carli Bei for MORE on the Pan Am GamesThanks EIla, the Toronto games just got a big boost in the star power department It_s been announced that Kanye West will be performing at the closing ceremonies Love him or hate him, there_s no denying that Kanye is a major coup for event organizers - especially when you consider that Ricky Martin closed the last games in Guadalajara. No offense to Ricky or his fans The closing ceremonies will take place at the Rogers Centre on July 26th. It looks like the games are going to cost a LOT more than originally planned. The project_s original budget was set for 1.4 billion dollars, but costs have already soared to 2.5 billion - and some observers think the final tally will cross the 3 billion threshold. Toronto taxpayers probably won_t be happy about footing such an astronomically pricey bill. And all eyes were on the water Tuesday as decorated US swimmer Natalie Coughlin hit the pool. Coughlin was the favorite to win the 100-metre freestyle event, but ultimately fell just short. She won silver, and took home a second silver in the 4 by 100 freestyle event. The buzz in Toronto TODAY is all about the Olympics. After a stellar Pan Am showcase, many feel the time is right to bring the world_s greatest athletic event to Canada_s largest city. If it_s going to happen for the 2024 games, organizers will need to submit a bid by mid-September. Okay, now for one final Pan Am update we_ll send you over to Carli BeiThanks Eila It was tough luck for the hometown team on the track at the 4 by 100 men_s relay The Canadians looked like favorites to win gold - and it looked like they DID. Instead, they wound up getting disqualified because one of their runners stepped on the line in the first leg. That gave the gold to the US, which they also won on the women_s side. What a way to cap things offAnd the games went out with a real bang on Sunday night in Toronto Thousands of fans packed into the Rogers Centre to bid the athletes a fond farewell, and to party at a star-studded event including the likes of Pitbull and yes, Kanye West. Despite a petition of more than 55-thousand people to keep Kanye from performing, the hip hop star delivered the goods to a raucous crowd.
