First up though, the days headlines with Peyton Priestly and more bad news for VOLKSWAGEN. California has rejected Volkswagen_s plans for a state-wide recall of vehicles affected by the emissions testing scandal. Officials said that Volkswagen_s proposal did not provide enough information on how the recall would be carried out or how the fix would affect future emissions testing. The US Environmental Protection Agency released its own statement saying that it backed California_s decision. Volkswagen said that they would continue to work with US officials to find a resolution. The Royal Bank of Scotland is in panic mode, advising clients to sell everything ahead of what it predicts will be a cataclysmic year for financial markets The bank_s credit chief, Andrew Roberts cited falling oil prices, volatility in China, and rising debt as a few of the major warning signs of impending doom. His warning even includes a comparison of current market trends to what it was like pre-2008, just before the collapse of Lehman Brothers. And he may have a point, as far as the price of oil is concerned. Oil continues to plummet on the open market with cost of a barrel sinking below thirty dollars for the first time since 2003. Prices have fallen 72 percent in the last 19 months. Experts are warning that it could get worse before it gets better, with oversupply, reduced demand in China, plus a strong US dollar, all working together to create the perfect storm for further drops. The Oscar nominations are out and there were winners, plural, in the massive Powerball lottery. Here_s Kat with a Naked News Bulletin. Eila there were 3 winning tickets in the 1.6 BILLION dollar Powerball lottery draw from Wednesday night. It_s insane to think they all beat the 292 million-to-one odds of scooping the record-breaking prize. The trio of winning tickets were sold in Chino Hills, California, Munford, Tennessee and Melbourne Beach, Florida. If the winners choose to receive their share as a lump sum payout, they_ll each get around 310 million before taxes. Not too shabby. Cable news channel Al Jazeera America is shutting down as of April 30th. The US offshoot of the Qatar-based broadcaster was first launched in August 2013 after buying out Current TV. The channel won numerous awards, but failed to connect with an audience. During peak prime time viewing hours ratings averaged 10 times LESS than rival CNN. Although the TV venture is dead, the company says it still plans to cover US news via its international digital services. And the 2016 Oscar nominations are out. The Revenant leads the way with 12 nominations, including best picture, best director, and best lead actor for Leonardo DiCaprio. Mad Max: Fury Road picked up nods for best picture, best director, and 8 other categories. And The Martian is in the running for 7 awards, including best lead actor for Matt Damon. The biggest surprises came from indie film Room, which got a Best Picture nod and saw Brie Larson snag her first best actress nomination. Eila, let_s talk snubs: a lot of people thought Idris Elba should have been nominated for best supporting actor for his performance in Beasts of No Nation. A St. Louis jury has ordered Johnson and Johnson to pay 55 million dollars to a woman who claims the company_s products caused her ovarian cancer. 62-year old Gloria Ristesund said she_d used J&J_s talcum powder for decades. The massive settlement isn_t the first of its kind either. In February, the pharmaceutical giant paid 72 million to the family of an Alabama woman in a similar case. 12-hundred similar claims have been filed against the firm. Johnson and Johnson plans to appeal the decision, and claims the link between its products and ovarian cancer are unproven. And the races aren_t officially over, but to most Americans they_re a foregone conclusion A new CNNORC poll has found that an overwhelming number of US citizens believe Donald Trump will battle Hillary Clinton for the White House in November. The survey shows that 84-percent of voters believe Trump will win the Republican nomination, while 85-percent are convinced it will be Clinton leading the Democratic ticket. It was a VERY different time with a very different cast, many of whom helped propel Naked News to what it is today. Hollywood_s love affair with the sequel continues with the release of Legally Blonde 2: Red White, and Blonde. This, of course, is the follow-up to Reese Witherspoon_s runaway 2001 hit, and like most sequels, you_re in for more of the same. That being said, the lack of explosions, gunfights, and kung-fu fighting sets it apart from most of the other films we_re seeing this year.The impossibly cute and perky Witherspoon reprises her role as Elle Woods. This time out, she discovers that the mother of her beloved dog Bruiser is being held in a cosmetics testing lab. Our plucky heroine heads to Washington DC in order to free the dog and winds up the motivating force behind a bill to outlaw animal testing. Of course, while getting caught up in the complex - and occasionally crooked - Washington political machine, she also has find time to plan her perfect wedding. This is Reese Witherspoon_s film from start to finish. What made the first movie fun was her portrayal of the _ditzy-yet-somehow-intelligent_ Elle as a more 3-dimensional character than you_d expect, and she_s back in fine form once again. Of course, she_s got more star-power helping her out this time. Sally Field does a fine job as a politician who tries to help Elle get the bill passed. However, other than Witherspoon, the best performance comes from Bob Newhart. He plays a doorman at the Watergate Hotel who befriends Elle and gives her all the information she needs to champion her cause... The movie itself is kind of like cotton candy: it_s light, fluffy, and a bit too sweet. But if you_re looking for an escape from a summer filled with over-the-top action epics, it_s a cute little diversion. We give Legally Blonde 2 - Red, White and Blonde 3 out of 5 Naked Ns. And as news of the Trump victory spread, congratulations from around the world started pouring in. One of the first that came in, surprise surprise, was from from Vladimir Putin. He went old school with a telegram. His message to his favored candidate included It_s not our fault that Russian-American relations are in such a poor state. But Russia wants and is ready to restore full-fledged relations with the United States. Trump also got good wishes from some high profile woman leaders, including UK Prime Minister Theresa May and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, both of whom stressed the importance of their relationship with America We_ll be right back. After my trip to Hedonism 2 in Jamaica a few years ago, I thought I_d experienced the very best in adult vacations. That is until I heard about a resort in Spain called Spice I got in touch with them and they were kind enough to invite us out for a special tour. A free trip to a 5-star all-inclusive? You don_t have to ask me twice I told Madison to pack her bags and we were outta here Spice is located in Lanzarote, the 4th largest of the Canary Islands. About a three hour flight south from Barcelona, Lanzarote is 100 km off the north west coast of Africa, meaning it gets warm weather year-round - the perfect spot for a naturist getaway The moment we arrived we knew we were in for a great time. Spice is beautifully laid out and has everything you could ask for. The amenities are great, the food was fantastic, and there was LOTS to do - including tons of adult play areas.One of the first things Madison and I tried at the resort was a belly dancing lesson - naked of course I have to admit it was a little bit harder than I expected - at least at first. By the end of the day we were shimmying and shaking like total pros. After working up a sweat on the dance floor, we opted to cool off in the HOT tub, where things definitely got wet and wild We splashed around in the waterfall and took full advantage of the barWe made quite a mess together. The hot tub was a great gathering place for all the couples at the resort to lounge around and have a little fun. Oh, did I mention that there is a weekly foam party?Let_s just say there were a lot of busy hands underneath all that foam. Every day at the resort was a total blast, and none of it would have been possible without our amazing hosts, Rebecca and Julian, who were happy to tell me all about Spice and what makes it so special. That_s definitely true - there_s nothing else like it. Of course, we didn_t spend ALL of our time on the resort. We went out on the town and experienced everything Lanzarote has to offer. Elise, sales of Apple_s iPhone have DECLINED for the first time in company history The 2nd quarter results out Tuesday reported sales of 51 point 2 million units, down 10 million from the same period last year. Revenue was ALSO down for the first time in THIRTEEN years, with just 50 point 5 billion reported, compared to 58 billion a year ago. It wasn_t ALL bad news though-Apple_s services division, which includes iTunes, the App Store and the newly created Apple Music, saw revenue increase by 20 percent. ANOTHER major car-maker has admitted to falsifying data This time it_s Japan_s Mitsubishi Motors Corporation. The company revealed on Tuesday that it has been faking the results of fuel efficiency tests for the past 25 YEARS. All of the affected models were sold in Japan, and include the eK wagon and eK Space light passenger cars, as well as nearly 500 thousand cars produced for Nissan. The fraudulent reporting was identified after Nissan noticed inconsistencies in the test results. And, employees at a US yogurt company are in line for a MASSIVE windfall Chobani is giving its 2 thousand workers up to 10 PERCENT of its shares. The company CEO called the bonus a mutual promise to work together with a shared purpose and responsibility. Employee Stock Ownership programs aren_t unusual, but Chobani is giving these shares away for FREE The individual payouts will be based on how long an employee has been with the company.
