Pizza ice cream is the latest flavor addition from California_s, legendary gourmet ice cream shop, CoolHaus The recipe uses mascarpone as the base, and adds olive oil, basil, sun-dried tomatoes, and a pinch of salt for its pizza flavors. Amazingly, this ISN_T CoolHaus_ most out-there flavor. They also offer fried chicken and waffles, and cream cheese with rye.Word on the street is that Burger King will be getting into the Halloween spirit with some special food offerings Leaked pics show a Whopper with a spoooooky black BUN, similar to the squid-ink buns the chain released last year in Japan. There_s also apparently going to be a pumpkin spice Oreo SHAKE, which frankly sounds like a whole lot of awesome Love coffee but just don_t have time for that whole making or buying it and then DRINKING it hassle? Then maybe caffeinated gummy cubes are more your thing. They_re real and currently being fundraised on Indiegogo. They_re made with actual coffee, and two cubes give the caffeine equivalent of a cup of joe. PLUS they_re supplemented with B-vitamins, folic acid, and other boosters intended to improve your mental performance. They_ll come in Latte, Pure Drip, and Mocha flavors. The New York Jets are the latest NFL team to up the ante on ginormous stadium food. Fans at MetLife Stadium can savor the Jumbo Jet Bagel, but good luck tackling this thing It_s a TEN INCH bagel topped with four eggs, plus a POUND each of breakfast sausage and spicy chorizo, a half-pound of ham, four slices of cheese, and hash potatoes. It_s fifty bucks, and meant to share with 3, 4, maybe even FIVE people. It joins their Jumbo Jet pretzels and sausages on the menu. And finally, another week, another new Oreo flavor Toasted Coconut Oreos have been spotted in grocery stores, and they look awesome. They_ve got the vanilla Oreo cookie outside, and the creme actually contains flakes of toasted coconut. Once again, they_re a limited edition, so if you_re a coconut lover, you want to stock up. We_re starting off this brand new week by shining a spotlight on Hollywood and the latest from the big screen in Naked at the Movies Madison Banes is standing by to tell you about Leonardo DiCaprio_s newest project, Robert Downey Jr_s next big payday, and the movie CBS doesn_t want you to see Here she is. The Volkswagen clean diesel scandal is getting the Hollywood treatment, Peyton, and it_s all courtesy of Leonardo DiCaprio The movie star is producing a movie about VW that he_ll be adapting from a soon-to-be-released book. Leo_s working with Paramount Pictures on the film, which will detail how the German automaker got away with what_s being called one of the greatest frauds in corporate history. No word yet on whether DiCaprio will star in the project, but if he does, it wouldn_t be the first time he_s worn more than one hat on set. He produced and starred in the smash hit The Wolf of Wall Street, too. It looks like CBS can_t handle the Truth The network has refused to run ads for the upcoming movie - despite a multi-million dollar offer from Sony - because it details one of the most embarrassing incidents in CBS history. Truth stars Robert Redford and Cate Blanchett, and revisits the 2004 debacle that saw CBS news anchor Dan Rather run a story questioning President George W Bush_s military record. The story was discredited and blew up in CBS_s face, eventually costing Rather his career. CBS claims the film distorts the truth of what really happened behind closed doors. Robert Downey Jr made headlines when it was revealed he made more than 80 million dollars last year for his role in the Marvel movies. Well that_s peanuts compared to what he_ll be getting for the next two Avengers flicks Downey_s set to make 200 MILLION off Avengers: Infinity War, which is being split into two parts. The blockbuster has a reported budget of 1 billion dollars, with 400 million set aside for the screenwriter, director, producers, and main actors. HALF of that figure_s going to Downey. Sure he_s great as Iron Man, but they could probably make a pretty convincing CGI version of him for a fraction of the price If you love Quentin Tarantino, there_s only one way to see his new movie, The Hateful Eight. Tarantino will be releasing two separate cuts of his latest epic. One will be the regular theatrical release, set for Christmas. But the OTHER will be the director_s cut, which comes out a few weeks earlier and will only play in about 100 theatres nationwide. The big draw here? The movie will be 6 minutes longer than the other version, and will screen in a special 70 millimeter format Tarantino hopes the innovative idea will become the premier way for Hollywood_s top filmmakers to launch their movies in the future. Now to our preview of the week, a look at Triple 9, a gritty new thriller starring Woody Harrelson, Casey Affleck, and Kate Winslet. But baseball and basketball, if you had to represent all the countries the players are from, every game would be half concert And not a good concertBefore the game, nothing_s happened. What are you even celebrating at that point? Successfully making it to your seat? You know how I want to celebrate that moment? By sitting downPlaying the anthems is actually WORSE for patriotism It takes what should be inspirational, and turns it into a boring task. A performance by someone you_ve never heard of. Which has nothing to do with the event you_ve shelled out a small fortune to go toSo let_s kill the question of whether you need to stand during the anthem the easiest way possible: lose it altogether Because unlike even the nosebleed seats at a 49ers game, talk is cheap. Peyton Priestly is standing by with today_s headlines, starting off with a travel warning from the US government The US State Department has issued a WORLDWIDE travel alert for all US citizens. The warning was released Monday and is based on current information suggesting that ISIS, al-Qaeda and Boko Haram are planning further attacks in the wake of the recent Paris tragedy. Americans are being warned to be especially careful in public places or when using transportation during the upcoming holiday season. The alert will remain in effect until February 24th. When it comes to dealing with terrorism, Hillary Clinton is the most trusted presidential candidate. This according to a Washington PostABC News poll. Half of voters believe Hillary has what it takes, while just 42 percent would put their faith in Donald Trump. Terrorism is set to be a key point in the 2016 election with those queried voting it the SECOND most important issue facing Americans, behind the economy. And the Canadian government will limit its Syrian refugee program to women, children and families only. The country has pledged to take in 25 thousand refugees before the end of the year. According to Canadian news sources, this will NOT include unaccompanied men seeking asylum due to ongoing security concerns. Potential applicants will undergo screening by both the UN as well as Canadian immigration officials before being allowed into the country.
