Seinfeld star Jason Alexander has confirmed a long-standing rumor about his TV fiance. Fans had assumed that news of the project was a massive prank but it turns out that Will is a HUGE fan of the genre. The movie is described as a campy send-up of movie-of-the-weeks and will air June 20th on Lifetime.Dwayne The Rock Johnson_s new TV show hasn_t even aired yet and it_s already drawing flags. Ballers is set in the world of professional football but producers neglected to get permission from the NFL for the use of team names and logos. Here_s a sneak peek for Ballers airing June 21st on HBO. HBO says it doesn_t need permission to use the logos but no doubt the NFL will be watching the show closely to make sure no one spikes the ball on their imageIt was the HIGHEST grossing slasher film in US history and now the Scream franchise is coming to the small screen. The storyline has been updated to reflect a more modern audience but the original kills and thrills are all still here The pilot will see a YouTube video going viral and ultimately becoming the motivation for murder. Things are looking up for the US economy Job openings surged to 5 point 6 million in December. That_s the second highest reading since records began and nearly THREE times the number of positions that were available at the end of the recession in 2009. Economists are pointing the finger at a shortage of skilled workers especially those with experience in trades like electrical and plumbing.And there_s at least one person who WON_T be looking for a new job anytime soon-Google CEO Sundar Pichai. The tech boss has been handed 199 million dollars worth of stock making him one of the highest paid executives in the WORLD. Michael Jackson_s Neverland Ranch is on the market and it could be yours for a MERE 100 million. The 2700 acre California property has 22 structures on it including a 12000 square foot main house. It also has it_s own train system and a 50 seat movie theater. The amusement park rides that gave Neverland its childlike reputation have been removed but fear not the iconic Neverland flower clock has been lovingly restored. Jackson purchased Neverland in 1987 for $19.5 million and moved out in 2005.A Hollywood film producer and real estate developer is building the most expensive property in the world. Situated in L.A.s Bel Air neighborhood the compound will have a 74000 sq foot main house and 3 smaller homes. Some of the features include a 5000-square-foot master bedroom a 30-car garage and a Monaco-style casino and nightclub. Construction is expected to take almost 2 years and it will then be put up for sale. The asking price? 500 MILLION dollars. But 500 million is just a drop in the bucket compared to this NEXT project. A new 100 BILLION dollar super city is being built in Saudi Arabia. Construction on the King Abdullah Economic City began 10 years ago and will eventually be home to 2 million people. Saudi Arabia wants the futuristic port city to become the shipping and manufacturing hub for the Red Sea. The project won_t be fully completed until 2035.Finally you_d expect to find Europe_s tallest building in France or Germany but it_s actually going to be located in the tiny Swiss village of Vals. Designed by famed architect Thom Mayne the 1250 ft luxury hotel and spa will use glass paneling to mirror and blend in with the surrounding mountains. The hotel is slated to open in 2019. In true Trump fashion The Donald has already DISMISSED the results alleging that someone at the Wall Street Journal must be biased against him The CEO of Starbucks has a few choice words for Trump and his political cohorts During a company speech last week Howard Schultz labelled the current presidential campaign a circus of yelling and slammed the lack of respect and dignity on display by the candidates. He called on Starbucks employees to hold politicians to a higher standard when they head to the polls. And we now know the SECOND winners of the record Powerball jackpot from last month 70-year-old Maureen Smith and her 55-year-old husband David Kaltschmidt of Melbourne Beach Florida have stepped forward to claim their share of the 1 point 5-8 billion dollar prize. Angie Heyward has the headlines including a new suit against Volkswagen a controversial court case and a huge cocaine bust Here she is.The US Justice Department filed a lawsuit against Volkswagen for violating environmental laws. It_s been four months since the German car maker was caught with illegal software that could bypass emissions testing. The cars were found to be releasing up to 40 TIMES more greenhouse gases than US federal standards. If found guilty Volkswagen could face a fine in the billions of dollars. More than 230 thousand people have signed a petition asking President Obama to pardon the star of a popular Netflix series. The 10-part documentary Making A Murderer was released in December and covers the trial and conviction of Steven Avery and his nephew Brendan Dassey for the 2005 murder of Teresa Halbach. It centers around the Manitowoc County police department in Wisconsin and the alleged railroading of Steven Avery and his nephew into prison. He was already suing the county for a PREVIOUS false conviction that saw him go to prison for 18 years. He was only out of jail for a short time when he was arrested for the murder. Many believe that Avery was falsely accused and possibly even FRAMED for the crime. And Spanish police have scored a major drug bust with the seizure of more than three TONS of cocaine 12 people have been arrested so far including 8 British citizens. The European country is a key entry point for illegal substances coming from South America. Holland is largely unknown in North America but has three movies being released this year including Ron Howards In the Heart of the Sea. Well see Hollands webslinger debut in next years Captain America: Civil War with the rebooted Spider-Man hitting screens in July 2017.Movie fans have spoken and Indiana Jones is the greatest movie character EVER. Empire Magazines poll put the swashbuckling archaeologist played by Harrison Ford ahead of superspy James Bond with another of Harrison Fords roles Han Solo in third. For TELEVISION characters Breaking Bads Walter White took top spot over Tyrion Lannister of Game of Thrones and Homer Simpson. If you had to guess whod be behind a biopic of comedian Groucho Marx you probably wouldnt come up with Rob Zombie. But hes doing pre-production on a film based on the book Raised Eyebrows: My Years Inside Grouchos House. It turns out Zombie is actually a longtime fan of Marx. He describes the project as Grouchos Sunset Boulevard a sad funny and very dark tale of the funnyman.And great news for fans of the British version of The Office David Brent will be back in Life On The Road a MOVIE spin-off to hit screens late next year. The film will continue in the doc-style format of the TV show following Brent-played by Ricky Gervais-as he leaves the corporate world to take his band on tour in search of rock 'n roll stardom. Gervais will write direct produce AND star.Now let_s have an early look at the upcoming action-adventure blockbuster Everest. Its based on the true story of the 1996 Mount Everest disaster where a massive blizzard killed eight climbers. The films A-list cast includes heavyweights Josh Brolin Keira Knightley Jake Gyllenhaal and Sam Worthington. Here_s the story. The US government began eavesdropping on the phone calls of American citizens long BEFORE 911 This according to an exclusive report from USA Today. About 10 years before the terrorist attacks in New York City the Justice Department and Drug Enforcement Administration started a program that logged calls from the US to 116 countries linked to drug trafficking including Canada Mexico and most of Central and South America. Investigators say the system helped them track drug cartel distribution networks. The program provided the blueprint for the controversial National Security Agency surveillance that followed. Russian hackers managed to break into the White House A new report from CNN claims that hackers gained access to the White House_s computer system giving them confidential information that included President Obama_s day-to-day schedule. The hackers first breached the servers at the State Department and used that access to leapfrog their way into the White House system. It_s important to note that the incident is not new. It happened last year and White House officials are downplaying its significance. The US and Cuba are on the brink of taking another promising step towards improved relations The State Department is widely expected to remove Cuba from the government_s list of State Sponsors of Terrorism. The designation has been a diplomatic stumbling block between the two nations for years. President Obama has yet to confirm the development but an announcement could come as soon as this week. Ballers is set in the world of professional football but producers neglected to get permission from the NFL for the use of team names and logos. A new 100 BILLION dollar super city is being built in Saudi Arabia. Construction on the King Abdullah Economic City began 10 years ago and will eventually be home to 2 million people. Saudi Arabia wants the futuristic port city to become the shipping and manufacturing hub for the Red Sea. The project won_t be fully completed until 2035.Finally you_d expect to find Europe_s tallest building in France or Germany but it_s actually going to be located in the tiny Swiss village of Vals. Designed by famed architect Thom Mayne the 1250 ft luxury hotel and spa will use glass paneling to mirror and blend in with the surrounding mountains. The hotel is slated to open in 2019. It_s been four months since the German car maker was caught with illegal software that could bypass emissions testing. The cars were found to be releasing up to 40 TIMES more greenhouse gases than US federal standards. If found guilty Volkswagen could face a fine in the billions of dollars. More than 230 thousand people have signed a petition asking President Obama to pardon the star of a popular Netflix series. The 10-part documentary Making A Murderer was released in December and covers the trial and conviction of Steven Avery and his nephew Brendan Dassey for the 2005 murder of Teresa Halbach. It centers around the Manitowoc County police department in Wisconsin and the alleged railroading of Steven Avery and his nephew into prison. He was already suing the county for a PREVIOUS false conviction that saw him go to prison for 18 years. He was only out of jail for a short time when he was arrested for the murder. Many believe that Avery was falsely accused and possibly even FRAMED for the crime. And Spanish police have scored a major drug bust with the seizure of more than three TONS of cocaine 12 people have been arrested so far including 8 British citizens. The European country is a key entry point for illegal substances coming from South America.
