With airlines about to make daily flights and some Cuban hotels being run by American companies CRUISE lines are getting in on the action. Cuban officials have given approval to Carnival Corporation the parent company of several major cruise lines including PRINCESS to start sailing to the island from Miami beginning in May. Port stops will include Havana Cienfuegos and Santiago de Cuba. And Hulk Hogan has been awarded an additional 25 million dollars in his sex tape lawsuit against Gawker Media The jury handed the former wrestling champ the extra cash as PUNITIVE damages. That_s on top of the 115 million Gawker was ordered to pay LAST week for publishing the tape. Gawker is confident the ruling will be overturned on appeal claiming that the jury was not allowed to hear crucial evidence that would support their First Amendment claim. According to statements a hotel clerk texted her family that al-Menhali had been pledging his support to ISIS and they called the police. After speaking directly to the front desk clerk police learned that in fact no statements relating to ISIS had been made. Al-Menhali has since received a public apology from Avon_s mayor and police chief. They say you shouldn_t look a gift horse in the mouth. What they don_t say is that there might be cocaine in there New Zealand police discovered 35 BRICKS of cocaine in the neck of an 881-pound horse sculpture This is the biggest ever drug haul for the country_s police force with an estimated value of over TEN MILLION dollars In connection to the crime police arrested two Mexicans and an American. And just as millions of people hit the beach in Florida to cool off a toxic algae bloom has forced Florida Governor Rick Scott to declared a state of emergency. The foul-smelling blue-green algae has covered their water and stormed beaches in 4 counties. And believe it or not it_s a man made disaster. The algae bloom is the result of controlled discharges from the polluted Lake Okeechobee. A spokesman for the Army Corps of Engineers has explained that the environmental impact of releasing the lake water has to be balanced against the potential flooding and public safety hazard of NOT releasing it. The Florida Department of Health has said people should avoid contact with the algae with children and pets considered particularly vulnerable. Don_t go away.

He then used the info to access at least 50 iCloud accounts and 72 Gmail accounts many of them belonging to famous women. The private settlement came just hours before the parties were due in court to discuss further issues that COULD have resulted in the hotel forking out more money. More than 650 THOUSAND people have signed a petition to boycott TARGET over its transgender bathroom policy The conservative Christian group American Family Association is behind the effort. The protest is in response to Target_s new policy of allowing transgender persons to use the restroom that corresponds with their gender identity. The petition claims that the arrangement puts women and minors at risk of sexual predators and suggests the use of unisex toilets as a common-sense solution.And for the first time ever Goldman Sachs is opening its doors to the average earner The investment giant has just launched an FDIC-insured online banking service called GS Bank. Accounts can be opened for a minimum deposit of 1 dollar and will offer an annual yield of 1 point zero five percent in interest. Kat the Spam King has been dethroned Sanford Wallace has been sentenced to two and a half years in prison on federal charges of electronic fraud and criminal contempt. Between 2008 and 2009 the 47-year old Las Vegas native sent more than 27 million spam emails to Facebook users. The emails contained links to websites that harvested their log-in credentials and friend lists. Wallace made money by redirecting people to other sites. Wallace_s spamming began in the 90_s when he started sending junk faxes. That_s old school In addition to his 30-month sentence the Spam King will pay more than 310-thousand dollars in fines. Just two days before Russia learns whether it will be allowed to send athletes to the Rio Olympics the nation has been hit with another damning doping scandal. The latest report from the World Anti-Doping Agency or WADA claims that its officials in Russia are being stopped from testing athletes and even threatened by security personnel. The report claims that 73 tests on athletes could not be collected and 736 were declined or cancelled. It also cites a number of incidents of athletes trying to cheat tests or even running away from testers. The WADA report doesn_t bode well for Russia. On Friday the IAAF will announce its decision on whether Russian athletes will be able to participate in Brazil.And China_s richest man and former Naked News Person of the Year Jack Ma has stunned luxury brands around the world. The founder of e-commerce site Alibaba - the Asian version of Amazon said that counterfeit goods are often BETTER than the real thing Ma has come under fire for allowing and profiting from knock-off goods sold on the site. According to Ma the fakes are made in the same factories as the high-end brands but they_re often of better quality and sell at a better price. He then spent the next three hours tending to the bees...and got stung five times for his troubles Serves him right for being such a BUZZ killAnd finally the Kiwi Cafe a vegan hotspot in Tbilisi Georgia saw a gang of locals storm a movie night they were hosting and start throwing meat at the patrons. The offending meat included sausages Kebabs and fish. The government there has just released a report claiming they had the capability to wipe out all of MANHATTAN using a hydrogen bomb. The North Korean leader was quoted as saying that his scientists have developed nuclear warheads small enough to fit on ballistic missiles. While nuclear testing by North Korea HAS been confirmed experts don_t believe that it currently involves anything as advanced as a hydrogen bomb. A US whistleblower is claiming that Volkswagen execs spent DAYS illegally DESTROYING documents relating to the emissions testing scandal. Daniel Donovan worked in the company_s Detroit Michigan office and says that he was FIRED for refusing to help delete evidence. In his lawsuit Donovan alleges the cover-up started on the same day the Environmental Protection Agency filed charges against the company. A spokesperson for Volkswagen called the allegations without merit. And it_s not the image most people would want to associate with their breakfast cereal The US Food and Drug Administration is investigating after a video recently surfaced online of a man URINATING on a Kellogg assembly line According to the food giant the video was taken at a factory in Memphis Tennessee in 2014. They also said that any possible contaminated products would now be expired. The company has since issued an apology on its official Twitter account and promised to cooperate fully with authorities. A Lancaster Pennsylvania man has been charged with violating the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act after he hacked the online accounts of more than 100 people Starting in 2012 Ryan Collins sent fake security emails to his victims asking for their passwords and usernames. He then used the info to access at least 50 iCloud accounts and 72 Gmail accounts many of them belonging to famous women. Collins has already accepted a plea deal for one of the charges and COULD now face as much as 5 years in prison. 4 days of consecutive rain has given drought-stricken California a much-needed water boost A series of recent storms has helped the state refill several key reservoirs in Northern California. Accounts can be opened for a minimum deposit of 1 dollar and will offer an annual yield of 1 point zero five percent in interest. Kat the Spam King has been dethroned Sanford Wallace has been sentenced to two and a half years in prison on federal charges of electronic fraud and criminal contempt. Between 2008 and 2009 the 47-year old Las Vegas native sent more than 27 million spam emails to Facebook users. The emails contained links to websites that harvested their log-in credentials and friend lists. Wallace made money by redirecting people to other sites. Wallace_s spamming began in the 90_s when he started sending junk faxes. That_s old school In addition to his 30-month sentence the Spam King will pay more than 310-thousand dollars in fines. Just two days before Russia learns whether it will be allowed to send athletes to the Rio Olympics the nation has been hit with another damning doping scandal. The latest report from the World Anti-Doping Agency or WADA claims that its officials in Russia are being stopped from testing athletes and even threatened by security personnel. The report claims that 73 tests on athletes could not be collected and 736 were declined or cancelled. It also cites a number of incidents of athletes trying to cheat tests or even running away from testers. The WADA report doesn_t bode well for Russia. On Friday the IAAF will announce its decision on whether Russian athletes will be able to participate in Brazil.And China_s richest man and former Naked News Person of the Year Jack Ma has stunned luxury brands around the world. The founder of e-commerce site Alibaba - the Asian version of Amazon said that counterfeit goods are often BETTER than the real thing Ma has come under fire for allowing and profiting from knock-off goods sold on the site. According to Ma the fakes are made in the same factories as the high-end brands but they_re often of better quality and sell at a better price. He says counterfeiting isn_t a quality problem it_s an intellectual property problem. The North Korean leader was quoted as saying that his scientists have developed nuclear warheads small enough to fit on ballistic missiles. While nuclear testing by North Korea HAS been confirmed experts don_t believe that it currently involves anything as advanced as a hydrogen bomb. A US whistleblower is claiming that Volkswagen execs spent DAYS illegally DESTROYING documents relating to the emissions testing scandal. Daniel Donovan worked in the company_s Detroit Michigan office and says that he was FIRED for refusing to help delete evidence. In his lawsuit Donovan alleges the cover-up started on the same day the Environmental Protection Agency filed charges against the company. A spokesperson for Volkswagen called the allegations without merit. And it_s not the image most people would want to associate with their breakfast cereal The US Food and Drug Administration is investigating after a video recently surfaced online of a man URINATING on a Kellogg assembly line According to the food giant the video was taken at a factory in Memphis Tennessee in 2014.
